These coasters are unlike any other. Each one is uniquely handmade for you. You can purchase each coaster individually or as a set of four.
We currently offer five different color tones: - Antique Maple: Gives a nice brown maple look. - Simply White: A white color with a nice haze to it, which looks beautiful on Pyro wood. - Petal Pink: A light pink that works well with the Rose and Lotus designs. It's a great gift for the special woman or love in your life. - Navy Blue: A darker color that allows you to enjoy the pyrography on your coaster. - Jacobean: The darkest stain we offer, providing a nice earthy tone.

All stains used are top-quality Minwax Semi-Transparent. We finish your personalized wood coaster with a hybrid Warm Glossed Oil-Water based Polyurethane. This protects your coaster with a clear sealer and combines the superior durability and beauty of traditional polyurethane.
How does your beautiful coaster come to life? The process starts with a wood piece cut into an approximately 3.5 in x 3.5 in x 0.25 (1/4) inch square. It's then hand-sanded and prepped for pyrography. Pyrography begins by hand and takes approximately 2 hours depending on your request. Next, your custom coaster goes through a water-based pre-stain process which takes about 30 minutes. Each coaster is lightly sanded before the staining process begins. Once the staining starts, it takes approximately 3 hours for your custom coaster to truly adapt to its new color. We use Minwax Transparent water-based stain, so regardless of the color, you can still appreciate the unique wood grains thanks to nature. Once the wait time is over, we begin to seal and protect the stain and pyrography with an Oil-Water based Polyurethane with a Warm Gloss finish by Minwax. This step takes approximately 2 hours. We apply 3 coats of polyurethane to ensure your beautiful coaster's pyrography and stain are well protected and ready for use. The final process is the curing time, which is approximately 24 hours. Once this is complete, we can either add rubber feet to keep your coaster from sliding or simply include them in the packaging. Your custom coaster is then neatly wrapped with Faux Leather string and ready to be used by you.
Each coaster is all-natural and handmade, so each one will look different. There may be small natural pockets in the wood similar to the coaster in the picture. Both sides will be stained and sealed.
